Gander was created to support small, independent brands, the ones doing things properly, even when it's not the easiest route.
So when we're choosing who trades with us, it's never about filling space or 'ticking boxes.' It's about finding people who genuinely care about what they're creating. The brands you'll find with us are the ones:
Making things in small batches
Putting real thought into their materials and packaging
Trying to be more sustainable (even if they're still figuring it out)
Building something with meaning behind it
They're not mass-produced. They're not faceless. They're real people, building something they believe in. And that's exactly who we want to champion.
We don't expect perfection: far from it. But we do look for intention. People who care about their impact, care about their customers, and care about doing things in a better way.

As a small business, we've done so many markets over the years. Some brilliant, some not so brilliant, but every single one taught us something.
We wanted to create an event that we'd be genuinely excited to trade at ourselves, one where the vendors are carefully chosen and not just squeezed in to fill the spaces.
One where visitors can discover amazing brands and actually meet the people behind them, and where vendor stall fees go back into the event, the marketing and creating a great experience, not just hiring a room and hoping for the best.
Most importantly, we wanted to create something that champions the incredible independent businesses and brands that put their heart into what they do every day.
We're still right at the beginning of this journey, but honestly, the support so far has been pretty special and we feel so lucky that so many amazing indies have applied already. 🤍

Straight back into the event — the marketing, the space, and creating a genuinely great experience for visitors and traders alike. Not just hiring a room and hoping for the best.
